UFW bietet die Möglichkeit der einfachen Konfiguration der IP Tables. Es handelt sich somit um ein Firewall Konfigurationstool.

Mittels IP Tables können Netzwerkzugriffe reglementiert bzw. Packetweiterleitungen erstellt werden.

sudo apt-get install ufw
#Aktuellen status anzeigen
sudo ufw status [verbose]?
#ufw aktivieren/deaktivieren
sudo ufw [enable/disable]
#Port 22 freischalten (ssh)
sudo ufw allow 22
#Port 22 sperren (ssh)
sudo ufw delete allow 22
